CNS Commencement

The College of Natural Science congratulates the 574 undergraduate degree candidates and 180 advanced degree candidates who graduated on May 8.  We invite all graduates to stay connected by joining the alumni groups on LinkedIn and Facebook.

CNS Awards Convocation is April 17

The annual Awards Convocation and Scholarship Event will be held Friday, April 17, at the Kellogg Center. College awards, alumni awards and student scholarships will be presented during the ceremony. Visit the awards page for details and a list of recipients.

Commencement recognizes NatSci chemist

Former MSU chemist Tom Krigas will receive an honorary doctor of science degree at the Dec. 5 advanced degree ceremony. From 1963 to 1970, Krigas worked with a team of MSU scientists and co-discovered the anti-cancer drug Cisplatin – the world’s largest selling, FDA-approved anti-tumor drug. Read more… 

MSU grad’s video attracts 3+ million hits

Physics alumnus Kate McAlpine has been featured in media around the world for her “Large Hadron Rap” which has collected more than three million views on YouTube.
