An essential ingredient in the college’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy is the need to provide regular personal and professional development for its NatSci community. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council (DEIAC) sponsors professional development and training opportunities in partnership with the College of Natural Science and other collaborators in the MSU community and beyond, including the NatSci Cultural Competency Training Workshop. 

There are also MSU diversity and inclusion training opportunities, MSU self-education offerings and DEI offerings through other organizations in the state of Michigan.
