Study Abroad

 

Students look into a crevasse on the Athabasks Glacier during a Study Aborad program in the Canadian Rockies.Study Abroad opportunities provide students with academic growth through experiencing different approaches to education, in addition to geographical and historical knowledge. Students also gain an increased empathy toward the life, beliefs and practices in other countries.

 

MSU has consistently been among the top three universities nationally in terms of the number of students participating in Study Abroad. Furthermore, the College of Natural Science now ranks in the top five nationally for the number of Natural Science students that participate in Study Abroad, with programs for every major and specialization offered in the College. Students can also elect to develop a "customized" program that fits their needs.

Program costs vary and depend on several factors including location, duration and type of housing offered. Scholarships are available for students with majors in the College of Natural Science.
