Stimulus grant for research on cyanobacteria
Jay Lennon, assistant professor of microbiology and molecular genetics, has received a $199,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to examine how cyanobacteria evolve to resist viruses. Global climate feedback from microscopic algae
Zoology professor Elena Litchman explored how nutrient limitation affects the evolution of the size of diatoms in different environments.
