Researchers part of team that discovers a second halo orbiting Milky Way
Research by a team of astronomers has found that two halos of stars — not just one — rotate around our Milky Way galaxy. The research, published in the Dec. 13 edition of the journal Nature, also detailed the motions of the two halos, which were found to be moving in opposite directions. Read more…
