The College of Natural Science is home to 24 academic departments and programs serving over 6,000 undergraduate majors and 1,000 graduate students in the biological, physical and mathematical sciences. Media Spotlights Holekamp

Zoology professor Kay Holekamp and her research on spotted hyenas was featured in the May 2008 edition of Smithsonian magazine as well as on WKAR Radio. Holekamp is adjunct curator of zoology at the MSU Museum - Michigan’s first Smithsonian affiliate.
